Miho is a licensed physical therapist, specializing in John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release. She works together with her patients to facilitate their healing process. By using this approach, Miho has witnessed some extraordinary results over the past 13 years. She wants to use her knowledge and skills for profound healing and achieve optimal individual health, and/or recovering from trauma and pain.
Miho is a Pilates Method Alliance International Pilates Teacher. She successfully completed the requirements for practitioner of Pilates for Rehabilitation at Polestar Pilates in 2018. Also, she studied Movement therapy for hypermobility & Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome led by Jeanie Di Bon. In addition, she holds her California Massage Council Massage Practitioner Certification after completing Holistic Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy at Loving Hands Institute of Healing Arts. She continues to expand other modalities such as Craniosacral Therapy at Upledger Institute International. Miho is aware that energy work is important for healing and wellness. She completed coursework in Reiki I, II, master and Subtle Energy classes, and she continues self-study in other energy arts. By combining her trainings, Miho brings a unique approach to both healing and strengthening the body. With her deep understanding of the body and movement, she agrees that body movement and health status can affect the brain and its functions. Miho looks forward to working together with her clients to assist them in achieving their optimal holistic health and wellness goals. Miho received her master's degree in physical therapy from California State University – Sacramento in 2008 and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology/ Exercise science with summa cum laude in 2006. |
